Meet The Founder

Hi, I’m Allison.

I’m an AuDHD parent, caregiver and someone who has spent years navigating some really hard seasons of life. I’ve experienced the loneliness that can come with parenting, walked through a difficult postpartum journey, navigated divorce at a young age, helped my child access autism resources, and am helping care for my father through serious health issues.

I know what it’s like to need support and not know where to find it.

Why I Started The Chosen Village

I created The Chosen Village because I believe no family should have to do life alone. My hope is to build a community where people feel welcomed no matter their background, comforted knowing they aren’t the only ones struggling, and genuinely helped when they need support.
